Hello to all my fellow bloggers in Net Studies 11 – Study period 1 2009. This is the blog where I will be posting the materials for my learning assessment.
First a little about me. I’m an editor of legal books (both paper and online).
My background is law, though I had a seachange break from that for the past five years while I pursued a passion for cheese. I ran a specialist cheese retail business in Sydney until the second half of last year, selling farmhouse and artisan Australian and imported cheese. Unfortunately, the Global Financial Crisis put paid to that and I now find myself again slogging it out in the law, but this time providing intelligent information to the legal profession.
I am convinced that there is a better way to exchange information among lawyers than what exists at present. Through this degree, I hope to discover ways of improving what I do, making my contribution to the law more meaningful and useful and, no doubt, eventually resulting in world peace.
